Before I make my advert must make sure that I do some research into the ASA and BCAP guidelines to ensure that I don't run into any legal issues regarding my advert. If I don't check the ASA and BCAP guidelines then my advert may not be aired as it could have issues such as legal and ethical issues e.g. copyright music copyright of ideas etc and also codes of practices e.g. risky content, false advertising, and product placement. After completing my research I know that my final product will not come into any legal issues. The ideas for my advert are all original, before deciding on a final production I looked around for inspiration, and collected a range of different ideas to help me create my product. After looking at these different adverts I came up with an idea that was original with no copyright of ideas or music. Additionally I have made sure that my advert contains appropriate content, this will ensure that no one will be offended by my advert. (04 - image below) I have decided that I will not have product placement in my advert which means that I will not be featuring any other product, other than my own, in my advert. The most important legal issue is false advertisement. (03 - image below) I have come up with an idea that ensures the product will be advertised as it is, without adding anything extra. I will make sure that the way I advertise my advert is true and that people buying my product will not be disappointed with it. Finally I have made sure that I am careful with my filming, I need to ensure that no members of the public are involved without their permission, there are also no references to other people with public profiles. Could you make reference to some of the specific rules/guidelines from the ASA website in your answer? Perhaps you could screen grab or just write them in as quotations.
